During this visit, we will discover, during a walk, the park, seen by the gardener.
I will explain the different types of gardens that compose it, the techniques and methods of maintenance specific to each of them, we will also address topics such as "differentiated management ", "water in our gardens", but also "wildlife" present in the park.
I will take the time, over the visit, to exchange with you and guide you on the problems you encounter in your gardens.

À propos du lieu

Château, parc et jardins de la Motte-Tilly

Dominating the Seine, the Château de La Motte Tilly, built in the middle of the 18th century for Abbé Terray, general controller of the finances of Louis XV, is a perfect testimony of the art of living «in the French style». Surrounded by its gardens and wooded park, with a collection of works and exceptional furniture, it combines luxury, tranquility and harmony. Its current state is the result of an intense campaign of works, led by the count of Rohan-Chabot, descendant of Terray, at the beginning of the twentieth century. His daughter, the Marquise de Maillé, an archaeologist and historian, continued this work by combining authenticity and modernity. The estate and its castle are now managed by the National Monuments Centre.
