Of students of
(BCU) and Joshibi University of Art and Design participated in joint online projects on the production of natural pigments and the philosophies underlying their use and production. The online collaboration between the two institutions began during the Covid 19 lockdown.
Joss Burke, who has worked for BCU for many years, was in France during Covid and so shared images of the garden and the environment with students and colleagues from Birmingham and Japan. The event “Rendez-vous aux jardins 2024 les cinq sens au jardin” offers the perfect opportunity to showcase the work done by teachers and students who respond to the theme and relate to the natural world.
