Around the abbey, private gardens restored since 2007\. Two routes(courses) are proposed. The one redraws the history(story) of gardens since Middle Ages by different thematic gardens where statues of the XVIIIth century line(mark out) floors; the other route(course), called «the walk of the grove», contains Mediterranean sorts(species) and offers an overview on the abbey and the massif which surrounds it.
Open all year long on request.

By A9 or A61, taken(brought) out Narbonne-sud. Since city centre, dir. Lézignan-Corbières D6113, then Fontfroide D613\. Fontfroide is in 12 km of the heat exchanger(interchange). Big(Great) parking lot in 150m of the Abbey.
