Why uplifting feelings have always been enjoyed at the sites of large garden works of art can be understood particularly well in the Small Fir Forest, the heart of the Landgravial Garden Landscape Bad Homburg.
- Fri 31 May, 4 to 7 pm: The Förderverein Kleiner Tannenwald invites you to paint a bouquet of flowers and write love cards. Paint a flower or a whole bouquet of flowers on postcards in front of the Swiss Egg in the Little Fir Forest with bright colors and write a few lines to your loved ones. The most beautiful painted flowers are awarded and rewarded with a rose stock of the nursery Peselmann. All cards then end up in a romantic mailbox and will be sent to the addressees in the next few days at the expense of the Förderverein as a surprise mail.
- Sat 01 June, 15.00 guided tour with reading. What is better suited to this year’s motto "With five senses in the garden" than an interpretation of the poem by Landgrave Friedrich V Ludwig Tempé", on site in the Great Fir Forest. The former municipal employee and landscape architect Elzbieta Dybowska not only presents the history of the Great Fir Forest in her guided tour. This time it is also about sensory perceptions and the garden and life philosophy of that time.
