The Plantier de Costebelle is a confidential tourist destination that complements major public tourist sites such as the Villa Noailles event vector of the city of Hyères, the Carmignac Foundation as well as the archaeological site of Olbia and the Museum.
In 1896, the French novelist and academician Paul Bourget (1852-1935), author of the Disciple, acquired the property that then took its current name, «Le Plantier de Costebelle», and received many personalities from the literary world.
