The other paradise is a landscaped park with a meditative garden, perched on a forest hillside of the Poligny forest that borders the Fontainebleau forest. It was premiered in 1967 by pianist Yvon Gaudin and his mother Louise Huon. Together they realized the work of a lifetime: a small oasis composed of 2 waterlilies, 7 Japanese bridges, 4 waterfalls, 2 small belvederes, many basins, sandstone benches, a small wood, a maze of alleys lined with large boxwood, evergreen shrubs and conifers, many grey and pink sandstone rocks, small beaches... All on a total area of half a hectare. The selected species (black and green bamboo, wig trees, boxwood, conifers, various deciduous trees, heather beds, lavender, roses, climbers) offer a variegated plant composition for all seasons. The place is rich in biodiversity: birth toads, frogs, snakes, deer cats, kingfishers, heron, fish, bats, dragonflies, tits, nuthatches, turtledoves, passerines, buzzards and owls from the forest just above the garden.
