For this 21st edition of the Rendez-vous aux jardins, Château-Chalon once again celebrates «L'arbre qui chante» in its artistic career.
The tree holds an essential place in the traditional imaginary. The emotion aroused by its musicality seems to carry in it the meaning of life. The tree is today at the heart of our questions and our hopes, because it is our source of inspiration, our breath, it is the one that crystallizes our thought.
«The singing tree» is the title of the cultural project carried in 2024 by the Maison de la Haute Seille. Its objective is to sensitize the public to the message of the writer Bernard Clavel, by proposing, through fifteen artistic prisms, a path of meditation around the symbolism of the tree. The creations are integrated into a series of wall frames installed in the streets of the village or take the form of installations, in particular in the panoramic garden of the house of the Haute Seille.
