Built at the end of the eighteenth century on pre-existing buildings, it is a rare example in Messina, of residence in which the functions of place of delight and production are mixed. The main building is surrounded by a set of buildings and artifacts that testify to the productive vocation: farmhouses and wash house, palm and oil mill, cellar, oven, chapel. Later (second half of the nineteenth century) is the arrangement of the ornamental garden, made by Princess Lina Tasca and Filangeri, aunt of Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa and great-grandmother of the current owner.
