SALVE FESTIVAL
CARLA ADRA, FABIENNE AUDÉOUD, MARCEL DEVILLERS BENJAMIN HUSSON, SARAH HOLVECK & FLORENT DÉGÉ ANOUCHKA OLER NUSSBAUM, HATICE PINARBACI, THÉO ROBINE LANGLOIS Salve takes for starting point the winter garden of the art center, built as a threshold linking the interior and the exterior, drawing the public to the park, symbolized by a majestic Gingko Biloba planted in 1862. This circulation, from the inside out, guides the programming and format of Salve, which begins with an inauguration weekend in the garden and in the exhibition spaces of the art center. The public is invited to appropriate Passages, a place made by artists, for the public. This festive and friendly weekend will be punctuated by highlights, where sculptures, installations and paintings flirt with moving art, performance, readings and a concert on the occasion of the Nuit Blanche. Salve, also proposes to explore collaborative practices, this indispensable social link that makes it possible to form a community. The works presented contain performative elements related to language, the common thread of the artistic and cultural project, and also reports on the work carried out in residence between 2023 and 2024. The spaces of 9, rue Jeanne d'Arc are considered an agora, bringing together the art center, the garden, and the Gingko workshops creating valuable networks of dialogue.
