©EXHIBITION TATRA NATURE - BOTANICAL GARDEN

In the Exposition of Tatra Nature visitors can discover precious and endangered species of Tatra flora along with trees that grow in the Tatras. On an area of 3.2 hectares, there are rock (alpine) gardens with limestone and silicate rocks, flora of marshland, raised bogs, bogs and forests, as well as species of alpine mountain meadow and the highest altitudes of the Tatra mountains.
Program during the event - 1.6.2024:
Topic: THE FIVE SENSES IN THE GARDEN At several places in the garden, we focus our perception on one of our senses at a time:
- with our eyes, we discover the detailed beauty of the Tatra nature;
- by smell, we get to know the known and unknown properties of plants and trees;
- by taste we delight in tasting medicinal plants and delicacies;
- by hearing we will learn to better perceive and know the life in our surroundings;
- and by touch we discover secrets that can only be "seen" by touch. Saturday's program will include guided tours of the Botanical Gardens.
