Reinforced by the duke Alexandre of La Rochefoucauld from 1736 on the location of a first garden, the geometric pattern of the kitchen garden-fruiterer of the Castle of Roche-Guyon illustrated movement physiocratique of the Age of the Enlightenment and celebrated food-producing production and acclimatisations. Transformed in the XIXth century it is abandoned(given up) at the end of 1960s. Restored in 2004 from the regular plans of a plan of 1741, it makes the object of forward-looking cultural approaches today, in connection with the nature, conjugating ecology, social rooting and heritage. No treatment(processing) with chemistry of synthesis is practised. The life of the ground concentrates all attention of gardener's team (e) s - of whom(which) employee's team (e) s in insertion - to obtain and to maintain an ideal substrate for cultures. Different techniques based on observation and understanding of nature are implemented. Cultural experiences(experiments) are shared with the public during guided tours, during meetings or pedagogic workshops(studios). Vegetables and fruits of the garden, cool(fresh) or transformed, are certified in Organic farming, they are on the market to the shop of the castle.
