Concert «Les Siestes électroniques» with Zelezna and Martyna Basta
Concert «Les Siestes électroniques» with Zelezna and Martyna Basta, Organized by Lo Bolegason, Goya Museum and Les Siestes Électroniques
Garden of the Bishopric, deckchairs available
For the first time, Lo Bolegason, Les Siestes Électroniques and the Goya Museum are joining forces as part of the national operation «Rendez-vous au jardin»!
Well settled in a deckchair, come and enjoy a nap orchestrated by the Polish experimental artist Martyna Basta followed by the French electronica producer Zelezna, for a chill moment on a background of hovering electro!
Polish artist Martyna Basta creates a delicate atmosphere that is both lush and enchanting. If her musical practice begins with a classical guitar training, she swaps her original instrument by a synth from the age of 18. She quickly developed a unique way of composing with modular voices, electronic sounds and field recordings. A universe she captures in her first album «Making Eye Contact with Solitude» on the Slovak label Warm Winters, which presents her as part of the new wave of the European experimental scene.
Florian Soulier, aka Zelezna, creates sound textures that tell stories. Full of nostalgia and sacred, his music awakens forgotten mystical places! Guitarist by training, he plays in parallel in several eclectic projects (Lombre, Julia Pertuy...). In solo, he develops his taste for exploration and approaches electronic music as self-taught. With his screaming melodies played in the modular synthesizer, he borrows from Caterina Barbieri his ecstatic experimental by installing a sweetness that evokes Rone. A universe whose refined melodies direct his compositions towards a contemplative and cathartic minimalism, captured on his opus «Monolog». Hypnotic and pointed!
