The tea ceremony is authentic in the pure respect of the ritual initiated by the great tea master Sen no Rikyu at the end of the 16th century in Kyoto.
It includes the guided tour of the tea garden, an evocation of the origins of the «way of tea», the presentation of the principles and modalities of Macha tea tasting in the tea house.
The whole ceremony is lived with slowness, calm and serenity; all the attention is focused on the aesthetics of the place -garden and tea house-, the friendly harmony of the assembly, the accuracy and perfection of the gesture.

Small town garden in the historic center of Tréguier, composed of orderly spaces (courtyards and terraces) and a small intimate valley of Japanese inspiration leading to the tea pavilion dedicated to traditional tea ceremonies (on the occasion of the European Heritage Days in the Gardens; details on the website).
