Der Garten des Instituts, der normalerweise für die Öffentlichkeit geschlossen ist und sich hinter dem Palazzo Incontri Rosselli im historischen Zentrum von Florenz befindet, beherbergt seit 1961 das Kunsthistorische Institut in Florenz - Max-Planck-Institut.
Das Thema "La Vista" lässt sich leicht auch auf den Garten des Palazzo Incontri Rosselli anwenden. Schon am Eingang der Via Giusti, durch das große Glas der Tür, "überwindet" der Garten die Schwelle zwischen innen und außen und schafft eine visuelle Achse, die in den grünen Raum einführt und ihn leitet. Diese "visuellen Achsen" sind im ganzen Garten zu finden; kürzlich auch das Werk der zeitgenössischen Kunst Abolition Garden der brasilianischen Künstlerin muSa Michelle Mattiuzzi fügt sich in dieses System ein, da sie an einem strategischen Punkt entlang der visuellen Achse platziert ist, die sich beim Verlassen der Tür der Bibliothek öffnet.
Die kleine Tür, die zum Garten von Casa Rosselli führt, erinnert dann, so klein, schmal und ein wenig versteckt hinter dem jahrhundertealten Steinbutt, an einen der Schritte von Alice im Wunderland, als würde er von einem verzauberten Raum in einen anderen hineingehen. The garden of the Institute, normally closed to the public and located behind the Palazzo Incontri Rosselli in the historic center of Florence, has housed since 1961 the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz - Max-Planck-Institut.
The theme "La Vista" easily applies to the garden of Palazzo Incontri Rosselli. Already from the entrance of Via Giusti, through the large glass door, the garden "crosses" the threshold between inside and outside, creating a visual axis that introduces and leads towards the green space. Il giardino dell’Istituto, normalmente chiuso al pubblico e situato dietro il Palazzo Incontri Rosselli nel centro storico di Firenze, ospita dal 1961 il Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz – Max-Planck-Institut.
Il tema “La Vista” si applica facilmente anche al giardino di Palazzo Incontri Rosselli. Già dall’ingresso di via Giusti, attraverso il grande vetro della porta, il giardino “scavalca” la soglia fra interno ed esterno, creando un asse visivo che introduce e conduce verso lo spazio verde. Questi “assi visivi” si ritrovano in tutto il giardino; recentemente anche l’opera d’arte contemporanea Abolition Garden dell’artista brasiliana muSa Michelle Mattiuzzi si inserisce in questo sistema, essendo collocata in un punto strategico lungo l’asse visivo che si apre uscendo dalla porta della biblioteca.
La piccola porta che conduce al giardino di Casa Rosselli, poi, così minuta, stretta e un po’ nascosta dietro il leccio secolare, richiama uno dei passaggi di Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie, come se introducesse da uno spazio incantato a un altro. Subito oltre, lo sguardo è catturato dalla pergola di Rosa banksiae, che a giugno crea tappeti gialli di fiori oscillanti al vento, frequentati dalle api attratte dalla ricca fioritura.

Immédiatement après, le regard est captivé par la pergola de Rosa banksiae, qui crée en juin des tapis jaunes de fleurs oscillant au vent, fréquentés par les abeilles attirées par la riche floraison.
