The spa trail initiated by the CAUE du Puy-de-Dôme allows you to discover, rediscover and reclaim the exceptional built environment of the thermal city of La Bourboule. The thermal heritage that we observe often echoes a prestigious past, while many testimonies, small elements of everyday life, disappear. This course offers a summary of 19th century architecture to make emerge a totally contemporary and prospective reading. It is also a way to inventory the elements that make sense with the place, the water course, the tree of the plant with thermal park and gardens, the unifying role of public spaces, the «prodigious» architecture and the more «ordinary», which founded and structured the La Bourboule Thermal City.
