Nils is a good-for-nothing boy who spends his time pranking and loves nothing so much as persecuting animals. Until the day a tomte (goblin of Swedish mansions) casts a spell on him to get back at him. Nils becomes tiny and discovers that he can communicate with animals. At the same time, Martin, one of the jars of the farm, sees wild geese passing by and decides to accompany them on their migration. Trying to catch him, Nils flies away with him…
Nils' Marvelous Journey takes over the worlds that the Pied de Biche company likes to develop, such as initiatory travel, metamorphoses, the human-animal relationship and of course the vital breath of adventure. On the creative side, this story offers a fantastic theatrical richness: scale changes, narrative twists, scenographic inventions to translate movement and travel, the flight of geese, height or the encounter with animals.
