Turna est la fille cadette d’un homme puissant et sévère qui lui interdit de franchir le seuil de leur foyer enfoncé dans le ventre de la Terre. « Le monde des humains est trop vilain ! », lui dit-il.
Un jour pourtant, la jeune fille prend la forme d’un oiseau et s’envole en secret…
Shaïn est le fils aîné d’une femme douce et aimante qui enjoint son fils à quitter la maison : « Il est temps de quitter la maison, tu as du poil au menton ! ». Le jeune homme emporte quelques arrêtes de poisson et un jeu de cartes joue aux cartes dans une auberge, embrasse sa maman et se met en marche…
La rencontre des deux jeunes gens marquera la naissance d’une aventure extraordinaire. De celle qui nous laisse à bout de souffle…
