In this concert, the whimsical Rodrigo Cuevas takes us on a journey through Spain thanks to his traditional Asturian melodies mixed with pop bases. In recent months, La Romería has been welcomed in several countries with extraordinary success. The show is composed of songs featured in Romería's musical album Manual, released in 2023, as well as other hits by the singer.
We can say that La Romería is a masterful and exuberant work. It is indeed a concert which celebrates both celebration and pleasure, but also sweetness and memory, in honor of traditional figures. Some melancholy memories punctuate this show: a landscape that leaves us, another sublime and inspiring.
After abandoning his music studies in his hometown (Oviedo in Spain), Rodrigo Cuevas left to live in Galicia where he learned the language of the region and was introduced to traditional music and dance from the north of Spain.
