We are pleased to invite you to the photographic exhibition entitled "Signal, Sign, Symbol | Architecture of the Head Office of the Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole".
This exhibition highlights period images of the headquarters building of the Caisse Régionale du Crédit Agricole Mutuel, designed by theAndrault & Parat agency and built in Saint-Jean-de-Braye between 1971 and 1973.
This building is distinguished by a formal language characterized by simple and monumental geometric shapes, typical of the brutalist architectural current. The exhibition traces the key stages of the evolution of the site while highlighting the emblematic elements of this architecture and interior spaces.
The opening will take place on October 19th at 7pm in the premises of the Order of Architects Centre-Val de Loire, located at 44/46 Saint-Laurent, 45000 Orléans.
The eponymous publication, by Elke Mittmann and Simon Texier, will also be presented to the public. It invites the reader to discover the architecture of the agency Andrault & Parat with a focus on the building of the headquarters of Crédit Agricole located in Saint-Jean-de-Braye that will be deconstructed soon.
This project is supported by the Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Centre-Val de Loire, the Drac Centre-Val de Loire and the Conseil Régional de l'Ordre des Architectes Centre-Val de Loire.
