The Tau Palace, museum of the coronations of the kings of France and the cathedral of Reims, is currently closed to the public for renovations (renovation of facades, interior renovation, museographic redesign...). During the coronation ceremonies of the kings of France, the Palais du Tau – the former palace of the Archbishop of Reims – presents today the memory of the cathedral and the splendour of the coronations. Sculptures, tapestries, costumes, ornaments and goldsmiths' pieces constitute an exceptional treasure, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
