Having installed(settled) in the basements of the Palace Rohan, the Archaeological Museum - one of the most important of France by the scale of its collections - invites you to discover several millenniums of the history(story) of Alsace, of 600 000 before J.C. in 800 AD.: the hunters(fighters) of mammoths of the Palaeolithic, the first farmers of the Neolithic, the necropolises of bronze ages and of some Iron, everyday life of the Gallo-Romans and wealth of the Merovingian civilisation in Alsace.
