Zoé, 50 years of publishing

"Everything that surrounds a book is people, it's a team and it's teamwork. There's the writer who makes a consistent effort at a given moment, and then afterwards it's taken over by others and that's wonderful." Gabriella Zalapì.
Since January 2025, the documentary podcast series Zoé, 50 ans d'édition, produced by Chahut Média, has been available. A participatory listening session is organized at the Bibliothèque de Genève, providing an opportunity to go behind the scenes of a passionate publishing adventure that has been going on for five decades. Between piles of manuscripts, work on the text, promotion and the life of the book, publishers and authors tell their stories.
