Discover Afrosonica - Soundscapes with Madeleine Leclair, co-curator of the exhibition and curator of the Department of Ethnomusicology at MEG, and Raphaela von Weichs . This immersive sound exhibition explores the role of music and sound in African societies and their diasporas. The tour highlights the power of sound and music to open minds, feel the present moment, communicate, establish connections between humans and non-humans, transmit knowledge and emotions, and remember.
This is a unique opportunity to listen to and talk to the people involved in creating and producing the exhibition.

Découvrez Afrosonica - Paysages sonores avec Madeleine Leclair, co-comissaire de l’exposition et conservatrice du département d'ethnomusicologie au MEG et Raphaela von Weichs, anthropologue culturelle et sociale spécialisée en étude africaine et recherche de provenance.
Cette exposition sonore immersive explore le rôle de la musique et du son dans les sociétés africaines et leurs diasporas. Le parcours met en lumière le pouvoir du son et de la musique pour ouvrir les esprits, ressentir l’instant présent, communiquer, établir des connexions entre humains et non-humains, transmettre des connaissances et des émotions et se souvenir.
Une occasion inédite d’écouter et d’échanger avec les personnes qui ont participé à la création et la réalisation de l’exposition.
