When plants showcase geometry: spirals and symmetries
The natural beauty of plants is also expressed in the regularity of their shapes and the rhythm of their symmetries, actual natural geometries. We'll discover these shapes in the Botanical Garden before creating a forest made of paper.
This workshop is part of the Geneva Botanical Garden’s Ateliers verts series.
On Wednesday afternoons, children are invited to share our passion for the world of plants and botany in a fun and educational way. Themed investigations, sensory discoveries, botanical explorations, and many other activities are included in the programme. These workshops are carried out in the heart of our living collections by our curators, gardeners and scientists, in collaboration with volunteers from Uni3, Geneva's University for Seniors.
