Opening of Human.Kind. Exhibition
In collaboration with the Prix Pictet, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum reflects further on humanitarian imagery.

Human.Kind. presents an alternative approach to photographing humanitarian action. The exhibition showcases the work of 30 of the 3,000 photographers from around the world who’ve been nominated for the Prix Pictet since it was first awarded in 2008. Their images depict key aspects of humanitarian action differently from anything we see in the news. What sets them apart? An unerring sense of compassion.

Comment photographier l’action humanitaire autrement ? Human.Kind. rassemble 30 photographes du monde entier parmi les 3 000 qui ont concouru au Prix Pictet depuis sa création en 2008. Si leurs images abordent bien les grands enjeux de l’action humanitaire, elles ne ressemblent pas à celles qui font l’actualité. Leur point commun : un regard bienveillant.
