Push the door of a beautiful mansion...
You may know them from having noticed and admired them while strolling through the streets of Roubaix!
Mansions and beautiful houses bear witness to the city’s flourishing past and the prosperity of the great families who occupied them.
But what are these sumptuous facades with preserved decorations hiding today?
Recognizable thanks to its emerald-green glazed terracotta tiles, the "Maison Verte" is the result of the combined talents of Auguste Georges Dubois, architect, André Laoust sculptor, and Emile Muller, ceramist.
Today it is the artist Hugo Laruelle who occupies the premises and it is with our guide Nicolas that we will push the door of this beautiful residence!
