All the great things
All great things take the form of a list: "1. Ice. 2. Water battles. 3. Standing after the usual time and being allowed to watch TV...”. In short, and from the point of view of a child, what gives salt to existence. But behind this lightness hides a serious subject. A seven-year-old boy is confronted with his mother’s depression and lists «what is worth living». Having become a man, he recalls his candid words in the face of the evils of adulthood. From this poignant text, Arnaud Anckaert drew a luminous play. Remarkable for his accuracy and delicacy, the actor Didier Cousin offers us here an ode to life in the form of a participatory one-man show.
