Jean Miaille
The work began with this question, releasing three meanings: the fear of forgetting; the loss of memory; the need to forget not to sink; whether for an individual, a couple, a nation. With the music of Arvo Pärt, the duo reveals its dramaturgy by proposing three distinct choreographic parts.
A duo that struggles, expresses self-forgetfulness through bodies.
These detached bodies, offer a state of transparency, offer a freedom of interpretation to the witness spectator, receiver of physical tension.
A state of body at the service of a state of mind.
The sobriety and simplicity of the choreography are responsible for the emotion created. Oblivion offers paths that fierce dancers fiercely follow.
There remains only our own history, with the choice to order its progress so as not to lose track of it.
