For the 2024 edition of the operation «The class, the work», the museum of Apt and the class of 4th of the college Charles de Gaulle have co-constructed a project around the section devoted to ochres. Within the museum, students discovered several aspects of this industry: the training of ochres and their extraction, their transformation into factories, the packaging and export of pigments to end with their uses. In the workshop, they experimented with different ochre painting techniques with various binders and supports. During this Night of Museums, they will present the works made with the technique of their choice in Fine Arts class.
