Demonstration: the small farm of CAUE
The small farm of the CAUE
Chickens, sheep, goats settle in Petit Quevilly for heritage days. The CAUE and OKOTOP offer activities all afternoon on the theme of biodiversity, nature in the city and the preservation of animal heritage.
The CAUE opens the doors of its garden and its premises.
To talk about nature and environment, protection of natural heritage, the CAUE 76, in partnership with the association OKOTOP, invites you in its garden to discover its small farm composed of animals of the great northwest breeds: goats, chickens, sheep…
All afternoon you can meet the CAUE team and exchange with the association OKOTOP on pastoralism, biodiversity and preservation of animal breeds presented, visit the premises.
Since 2017, the CAUE 76 has been experimenting with a garden management favorable to urban biodiversity, part of our natural heritage; extensive grazing by Ouessant sheep and mowing deferred lawns testify to this desire.
