VISIT OF THE REHABILITATION SITE OF A VILLAGE HOUSE
The CAUE de l'Ain, in association with the Association des Architectes de l'Ain, offers a visit of a site with explanations from Alexandre Vernin and Véronique Paccard architects. Project designed by Archibulle architectes. As part of this rehabilitation, the enhancement of stone walls and the use of quality wooden joinery contribute to preserving the very essence of the building. The house has been enlarged respecting its unique character, creating an extension on the back that harmoniously blends into its environment, like a winter garden under the wide eaves of roofs. To ensure optimal brightness, a roof piercing was carried out in order to install Velux, thus allowing natural light to bathe the interior of the house.
