Discovery tour of Chaillé-Les-Marais with the regional natural park of the Marais poitevin.
Chaillé-Les-Marais is a small town in the heart of the desiccated Poitevin marsh.
Like all the villages of the Marais poitevin, it was created and organized to take advantage of the marsh. Its location on a promontory on an ancient island, however, gives it a special character.
Cliffs, limestone hillsides, houses, materials, colors... all of these elements form the landscape, urban and architectural heritage both typical and particular of Chaillé-Les-Marais. This is what you will be able to perceive by following the consulting architect during a walk in the village.
about 1.7 km duration: 1h30.
The exact meeting place will be given at the time of registration.
