Das Projekt «DOS Y MAS» wurde im Dezember 2016 anlässlich eines Konzerts im New Morning, dem emblematischen Saal von Paris, ins Leben gerufen. Bei diesem ersten künstlerischen Zusammentreffen waren der venezolanische Schlagzeuger Orlando Poleo und der Bassist Bertrand Beruard, zwei Musiker mit reichen und sich ergänzenden Abläufen. Dieses Konzert war der Beginn einer Zusammenarbeit, die originelle musikalische Horizonte erkundet.
Für diese Performance wird das Duo von der Saxophonistin Olga Amelchenko begleitet, deren Kreativität und Klangfülle dem Ensemble eine neue Dimension verleihen. Die Kombination von Bass, Perkussion und Saxophon bietet eine neue Konfiguration, die auf der Komplementarität der Register und der klanglichen Texturen spielt. Gemeinsam entwickelt das Trio einen innovativen musikalischen Ansatz, der die Interaktion und Fusion von Klangfarben in den Vordergrund stellt.

The "DOS Y MAS" project was born in December 2016 during a concert at the New Morning, an iconic venue in Paris. This first artistic meeting brought together the Venezuelan percussionist Orlando Poleo and the bassist Bertrand Beruard, two musicians with rich and complementary backgrounds. This concert marked the beginning of a collaboration exploring original musical horizons.
For this performance, the duo will be joined by saxophonist Olga Amelchenko, whose creativity and sound richness will bring a new dimension to the formation. The combination of bass, percussion and saxophone offers a new configuration, playing on the complementarity of registers and sound textures. Together, the trio develops an innovative musical approach, highlighting the interaction and fusion of timbres.

Il progetto «DOS Y MAS» è nato nel dicembre 2016 in occasione di un concerto al New Morning, sala emblematica di Parigi. Questo primo incontro artistico ha riunito il percussionista venezuelano Orlando Poleo e il bassista Bertrand Beruard, due musicisti con percorsi ricchi e complementari. Questo concerto ha segnato l'inizio di una collaborazione che esplora orizzonti musicali originali.
Per questa performance, il duo sarà affiancato dalla sassofonista Olga Amelchenko, la cui creatività e ricchezza sonora porteranno una nuova dimensione alla formazione. L'associazione del basso, delle percussioni e del sassofono propone una configurazione inedita, giocando sulla complementarità dei registri e delle texture sonore. Insieme, il trio sviluppa un approccio musicale innovativo, che mette in risalto l'interazione e la fusione dei timbri.

El proyecto «DOS Y MAS» nació en diciembre de 2016 con motivo de un concierto en el New Morning, sala emblemática de París. Este primer encuentro artístico reunió al percusionista venezolano Orlando Poleo y al bajista Bertrand Beruard, dos músicos con trayectorias ricas y complementarias. Este concierto marcó el comienzo de una colaboración que exploraba horizontes musicales originales.
Para esta actuación, el dúo estará acompañado por la saxofonista Olga Amelchenko, cuya creatividad y riqueza sonora aportarán una nueva dimensión a la formación. La combinación de bajo, percusión y saxofón ofrece una configuración inédita, jugando con la complementariedad de los registros y las texturas sonoras. Juntos, el trío desarrolla un enfoque musical innovador, que destaca la interacción y fusión de timbres.
