During the entire Second World War and under the Nazi occupation, if balls were banned, the songs continued to resonate... on the radio, as if echoing sorrow and hope. Radio was the vector of propaganda aimed at submitting oneself, as well as that of secret messages encouraging resistance.
On stage, artists play with the cursor of a TSF, singing or commenting from one language to another, to embark the public in a sound journey into the space-time of the Second World War, capturing alternately the National Radio (Vichy or Marseille), Radio-Paris (radio totally under the control of the occupier), the BBC (Radio-Londres), Radio Belgrade, Radio Berlin, the Radio Suisse Romande (Lausanne), Radio-Alger (renamed Radio-France) and finally Voice of America, radio that broadcasts in Europe from 1944. Live, the artists make sounds, voices and music, as in the studio, bringing out what we do not see on the radio: sometimes hypocrisy, sometimes emotion, depending on what people of micro and artists of that time were.
