Guided tour of the historic station
Come and discover the Tours train station, listed as a historic monument, during a guided tour by the architect Bertrand Ahier of SNCF Gares & Connexions.
It was built at the end of the 1st century under the direction of Victor Laloux architect tourangeau the same one who realized the station of Orsay in Paris (become museum of Orsay since) or the town hall of Tours.
In groups of 40 people discover the history of this heritage renovated a few years ago, which has evolved to adapt to new mobility while retaining its identity.
You can admire the ceramics, also restored 7 years ago, which adorn the interior of the station, an invitation to travel that has lost none of its charm!
During your time at the station you can also travel back in time with an exhibition of old postcards and an exhibition of photos.
