Sheltered behind the monumental door created by Swaddling clothes 1738, the museum, real report(memory) of the arsenal, illustrates maritime tradition in the Mediterranean Sea by an exceptional collection of models of vessels and galleys(bad adventures). Renewal of the route(course), of the signposting, panels(signs), of lighting, after two working months, museum rediscovers in a new light from March, 2011! Leaning on the wealth of its collections, inherited from the know-how of the men of the arsenal since the second half of the XVIIth century, the museum proposes in a pedagogic and delightful way a human history and an accessible(approachable) technique to all.
