Echoing the exhibition of the Rencontres de la photographie “Lumière des Saintes” (until 24 September in the Chapel of the Museon Arlaten), this visit will be an opportunity to discover and rediscover the museum’s collections related to the pilgrimage of the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and the gypsy culture of the territory. It is led by Kristel Amellal, ethnologist of the Museon Arlaten, and will offer a look at ethnographic research such as the practice of the Museon and the evolution of this discipline.
