For heritage days the staircase of the castle gardens is open to the public

The gardens of the Château des d'Arbaud (18th century) were arranged in several terraces to the south of the buildings. Descending from the last terrace, a staircase spanned the Rue des Baumes by a semicircular bridge, then divided into two flights to reach a large portal overlooking the Rue Grande. In front of the portal, the house of Glycines which bars the view did not yet exist (dated 1913); other stairs allowed to go down on the edge of the Real and in the gardens of symmetry whose basins and fountains remain in the gardens at the back of the boulevard.
