The Saintes Maries de la Mer Museum, opened in 2022, is dedicated to archaeological finds made in an underwater environment, off the shore. The remains, ranging from Antiquity to the Second World War, tell the story of the Camargue. The Museum also presents collections classified Museum of France dedicated to the Marquis de Baroncelli, defender of the traditions of the Camargue, who helped preserve and make known the region. The Museum offers free tours, guided tours, as well as events throughout the year.
