This church, is the third of the Var by its dimensions after Saint Maximin and Lorgues. It must be taken into account that the Bishops of Fréjus were then the Overlords of Fayence. Despite this presence, there is not, in this church, a debauchery of decorations and flourishes as is often the case. It is a baroque church of the great period, designed by the architect André Ferraud and the engineer Bonvoisin. Its altar is listed as a Historic Monument on August 1, 1967. It imposes its twenty-five meters of height with an outside bell tower of thirty-seven meters. This church, which measures fifty meters long by twenty meters in Latin cross, is provided with three naves, four bays and a semicircular apse.
