Heritage and multimedia
The Heritage Space is an exhibition space dedicated to the discovery of the city’s heritage, with exhibitions on current themes (archaeological excavations, restoration sites of historic monuments, promotion of scientific research etc.), renewed annually. The Heritage Space is located in the circular tower of the 16th century rampart, directly overlooking the entrance to the city center, Place Clemenceau and the Paul Vernet roundabout. It also faces the Tourist Office, the starting point for heritage discovery tours, and allows to reach a wide audience. Virtual visit of the Roman fish tank: Thanks to a 3D helmet, immerse yourself in the archaeological crypt and go back to the 1st century B.C. where the ancient shore, a fresh water tank and a fish tank stood.
