During this conference, Bernard Mondon, author of the book Les grandes heures du Tour de France au Ventoux, pays tribute to the cyclists who came to suffer on its rocky slopes at the height of summer. It evokes the exploits but also the failures and dramas that took place on this battlefield that became the legend of this great cycling race.
