La Grande Tablée - Hiking and shared meals for the inauguration of the work "Utopie Rocheuse" by Patricia Boucharlat
On September 16, we invite you to come and make a big table at the Col Vieux, as part of the inauguration of Patricia Boucharlat’s second project, entitled Utopie rocheuse. In resonance with the interpretive trail of the Grand Belvedere of Viso, Patricia Boucharlat proposes an installation to touch, observe and practice, in one of the entrances of the Ristolas - Mont Viso National Nature Reserve. It invites us to take an attentive and curious look at the diversity of the natural components of the landscape and at our place, both complementary and modeller. Focusing as much as possible on local materials, Patricia works alongside the artisans and inhabitants of Queyras in an exchange of practices and know-how over the months of residence. Rocky utopia - Col Vieux (2806m) - The piece takes the form of a high cairn dotted with ceramics, around which it is possible to settle. This larch seat is an invitation to take a break and observe the immensity of the landscape as much as life between our steps. Thirteen motifs are scattered in this assemblage of stones, fragmentary representations of heritage and fragile species of the reserve. Rocky utopia confronts us with the ecosystems of these high mountains that we can no longer see
To get to the Col Vieux, two possibilities: - departure from 8 am from the Echalp d'Abriès-Ristolas for a walk through the lakes Egorgeu and Foréant. - departure at 11:15 from the car park located under the Col Agnel.
Meet at the top at 12 noon for the presentation of the installation and to share the specialties that each will have brought.
