From 1996 to 2019, the training center of the Conservatoire de la couleur, like a conservatory of dance or theater music, put the practice at the center of the transmission of know-how.

In 2023, the municipality of Roussillon, sensitized to the transmission of artisanal know-how related to the implementation of color materials, commissioned Patrice Rolet, documentary filmmaker to make a film from the courses on Philippe’s coatings. This three-day introductory course is scheduled every month, the 3rd week from March to October.
After a general introduction of the lime cycle and the preparation of the supports, it offers different finishing coatings such as Italian marmorino or Moroccan tadelakt, using the natural colors of the Luberon and elsewhere. The film retraces in 5 chapters the course of the workshop.
