For the second edition of the Matrimoine Days in Saumur, Veuve Amiot launches the Rendez-vous des Bonnes Vivantes. Wine and gastronomy fair for women, it will bring together fifteen local winemakers and producers. A true postcard of the Loire, you can find the greatest appellations of our terroir: Saumur, Saumur Champigny, Chinon, Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, Savennières, Saumur Puy Notre Dame, Coteaux du Layon...
The first women wine entrepreneurs are the creators of fine bubbles, in Champagne and also in Saumurois. Our Maison Veuve Amiot is indeed the legacy of a woman, Elisa Amiot, who has done everything possible to make her company flourish and develop the brand image of her fine bubbles around the world.
With this new event we want to highlight the work of our founder, and all these winemakers who shape the world of wine in their own way.
If the vocabulary of wine often revolves around the feminine (the dress, the curve of the legs, the bouquet…) it really has no gender. It is above all the fruit of passion and hard work; this is really what we will put forward.
