The private castle was built in the 15th century by Lord Beauvau, advisor to King Charles VII and close to King René. Of this construction, it remains the chapel whose vaults of Angevin style are entirely painted. Representing scenes from the New Testament, this exceptional iconographic ensemble is one of the most complete in Anjou. Renovated from the 16th to the 18th century, the castle dominates the surrounding vineyards.
Free visit of the chapel, the rooms of the ground floor and its gardens.
