The great temple built in the early nineteenth century is certainly the largest in France. In neoclassical style, it contains an organ registered as a Historic Monument. Produced in 1853 by organ builders Beaucourt and Vœgeli, this instrument was completely restored in 1992 by organ builder Laurent Plet. It has since been maintained by the Association des Amis de l'Orgue, which showcases it at several concerts each year.
An organist will offer visitors access to the organcase so that they can get a glimpse of the inside of the organ and the two-manual console, the pedals and the registers. Audio examples will be performed during the visits:
