Village de Beauvoisin

Beauvoisin is a village of 4,000 inhabitants, about 150 residents on the hamlet of Franquevaux. The town extends from the North to the South on more than ten kilometers from the plain of Vistre to the ponds of Petite Camargue through the plateau of Costières, offering splendid panoramas on the Cévennes, the sea and the Alpilles. On a clear day, the famous Mont Ventoux is on the horizon.
At the beginning of the 21st century, Beauvoisin is committed to modernity with a demographic that is progressing in the image of Languedoc Roussillon. The dynamism of the village is also based on the diversity of sports and cultural associations. The village is turned towards agriculture, orchards and vines in particular, where the famous Costières de Nîmes is produced, raised in private cellars and cooperative.
