Travel to the prestigious sericulture past of the Cévennes, all the stages of the manufacture of silk thread are presented, and an archive film on sericulture completes the visit.

During the visit are discussed: the history of silk in Cévennes, its rise and decline, Louis Pasteur and the Pébrine, working conditions in the mills and social movements in the nineteenth century, the architecture of silk with the mills, the magnaneries and the cultivation of mulberry trees.
