The «Stories and Legends of Crozant» tour criss-crosses the site and takes you in the footsteps of a 13th century visitor in the heart of one of the most prestigious fortresses of the time. Between decrypage of the ruins and legends surrounding the mysterious occupants of the rocky promontory since time immemorial, the place comes to life and reveals its best kept secrets.

In the confluence of the Creuse and of Sédelle, the vestiges of the Fortress of Crozant raise themselves(draw themselves up) at the top of a large rocky headland. Fortified town of medieval France, the fortress was also at the end of the XIXth century and at the beginning of the XXth century a place of inspiration for the painters of the School of Crozant.
